2026 Legacy Dinner

The Story
Over three decades ago a small group of homeschool families in Cookeville began Friday School, an arts enrichment program with the vision to reclaim the arts for the glory of God. Now in 2026, that humble beginning has grown from serving homeschool families through teaching and training in the arts to serving over 250 families, 600 students in two locations with over 100 weekly classes in all fine arts - drama, dance, music, and art, alongside Heritage crafts and private lessons in a wide variety of instruments and heritage skills.
Today, our mission stays the same, but our offerings extend beyond the homeschool community to include our after school classes so that students in public and private school can be equipped to express creatively the individual giftings placed within their hearts and be a light in our present day culture for the glory of God!
The Need
Since 2020, Peachtree has seen significant growth in the number of families we serve. We have been blessed to expand our space with the purchase of a building in Sparta to accommodate this growth.
Both of our buildings are from the 1920s, and have historically been places of worship and glory to God. It is our heart to keep these sacred spaces alive with families and through hosting weekly worship services. But, preserving these old buildings comes with costs. We are currently in need of $30,000 to make repairs so that students can continue to be equipped to be light in our present darkness. Additionally, we are preparing for future expansion opportunities as we continue to see significant growth.
Peachtree will never compromise on our mission to glorify God, and so we do not seek government grants or funding which often requires such compromises. We have existed solely on our class fees which we intentionally keep affordable, and generous donations. It is with that desire that we invite you to join us in preserving and protecting these properties and continuing our mission.
